  1. Passivation

Passivation is a process performed to make a surface passive, i.e., a surface film is created that causes the surface to lose its chemical reactivity. Here oxygen is absorbed by the metal surface, creating a mono-molecular oxide film.

  1. Advance Stainless Steel Passivation Radicals (SPR 3 AN Series)
Passivation formulations for Stainless Steel varieties. Cr >12%, Ni >8%
    • These are the most recent radicals whose efficiency comply with recent passivation standards.
    • The all are ASTM A 380-06 and compatible.
    • Self limiting reactions, hence the safer to the metal surface.
    • They improve their aesthetic look.
    • They remove corrosion susceptibility of the surface.
    • User friendly.
    • Good rinsability after the exhaustion of reaction.
    • Test kit is an innovative inclusion which acts as onsite lab.

  1. PassiPick-Gel
Brush application for external accessible surfaces of fabrication & castings
    • Suitable for S.S. 3.4, 316, 316 L grade.
    • Triphasic formulation involving degreasing, pickling & passivation.
    • Brush or spray application.
    • Useful for the large fabricated article of uniform area e.g pressure vessles, tanks etc.
    • They remove corrosion susceptibility of the surface.
    • Effective spread = 55 - 70 sq.ft /kg or 5 to 6.5 sq m /kg.
    • Least fumigant.
    • Durable stability.
    • Rinsing method to render surface neutral is with pressure jet.

  1. PassiPick-Lumen
Hollow pipes, spirals, inner surfaces small components
      Tri - phasic circulation
      LD-15
      PC-14 }             Circulate At 65° C for 30 minutes.
      PA-14 }
    • This is suitable for inner side of tubular structure, heat exchanger pipes etc.
    • This is metallurgically safe for surface being optimum in concentration.
    • Independent of labour involvement.

  1. PassiPick-Pool
For solid casting, forged component of medium size
    • No need of heating the solution. (room temperature reaction)
    • Compatible for stainless steel Cf8, CF8M; many casting & investment casting varieties.
    • Small articles having unusual surface.
    • Single dip application and removal as soon as surface adsorbs the required chemical quantum.
    • Economical through efficiency.
    • Rinsibility is good to leave neutral surfaces.
    • Can substitute electro polishing.
    • ASTM A 380 passivation standard compatible.
